About

I, Hopeful Herpetologist, am a lowly undergraduate student with high hopes of one day becoming a proper herpetologist. As i have many, many grueling years of schooling ahead of me it has come to my attention that I cannot allow myself to waste away under the dark cloud that is organic chemistry, statistics, and the ever dismal cellular and molecular biology that spell my certain doom. I must remember the purpose of my hardships, the love of my life, the lizard. 

And so, this place was born, a place to share in my love of lizards and animals of all kinds...but mostly lizards. Whether you share in my obsession or not, I hope you will give these amazing creatures a chance and you may learn something new while you're here. 

Be warned, as you may have already noticed I tend to be melodramatic in my writing, everything's just more fun that way, and I am a firm believer that letting my mind make connections to seemingly unconnected things is healthy and is in no way a sign that I have the mental capacity and attention span of a fruit loop. With this in mind, enjoy the ride!
